The collection was founded in November of 2005 by Irini Arakas, a native New Yorker who left her job as a Vogue fashion writer and stylist to work full-time on her burgeoning jewelry collection. Arakas hand makes all of her one-of-a-kind jewelry and the line has expanded into fringed silk scarves and dresses. Arakas is known for mixing prints and color in her scarf designs and using rare and unique components in her statement necklaces.
